Activity 1:

Watch a video and match the following phrases.

Activity 2: Discussion

Students will be asked following questions and discuss them in group.

1. Have you ever celebrated Christmas before?

2. Can you list some Christmas customs？

3. What was the most memorable thing about last Christmas?

 

Activity 3: Timeline  

Students will read the passage and then discuss what happened in this passage. Then, students should fill in the timetable below with the events.

 

Activity 4:

Students need to fill in the table with the expressions they learned from the texts. One reporter from each group will do the presentation.

According to this picture, students need to write a short paragraph to introduce the meal on Christmas Day.
